2. SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION
2.1 Qualification- Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronic & eight (8) years experience in theinstallation, repair and maintenance of pneumatic, Fire & Gas and electronic control systems. Have the skill to check, calibrate and repair Fire & Gas Instruments and electronic instruments and troubleshoot in a PLC/DCS/microprocessor based control system. Shall be able to Diagnoses, trouble-shoots and locates system faults on Fire & Gas, equipment and implements appropriate remedial actions, including the use of diagnostic and calibration tools/equipment. Be able to lead and complete assigned jobs without direct supervision. Be able read P&IDs, Loop diagrams etc.
Hands on experience in the following:-
1. PLC such as ICS Triplex, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, HIMA, Siemens, Omron, etc.
2. DCS’s such as Emerson Delta-V, / Foxboro Invensys / Honeywell TDC3000, etc.
3. ESD Systems such as HIMA, ICS Triplex etc.
4. Oil industry safety standards and SIL Rating
5. Office automation software like MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.
